Prepare to be exposed to ramblings on gardening, singing, Christian theology/mysticism, what I'm reading or thinking, a fair amount of silliness, and of course updates on our young family.
Today we took Pip to get his portrait made. We recently acquired the overalls to prepare for our Texas trip, where the weather is considerably warmer than here. The white outfit belonged to his grandfather Pops. The blue boy-dress was a gift from friends at church (it's one of those Strasburg bloomers thingies with copious extra fabric). [Grandparents: Do not download these low-res photos for printing; we bought about a million prints that you'll be seeing soon.] Now without further ado, the cutey.
Ellen, we'll be in San Antonio and Cypress. Not very very near Waco, no. If we weren't jam-packed with having to see two sets of relatives and go to my bil's wedding, I would totally road trip to see you. Salado is a really great meeting place, with that inn restaurant built around the giant oak tree. Sometimes we make secret side trips to just see our friends, and we usually wind up north of Austin then. I'll facebook you next time around. By then you'll be married! Yay! So happy.
